I am so so happy that I found Grand Stone Restorations - I had a very odd chip in my brand new engineered stone. So many companies said they could not do it and wouldn’t even bother to come and look at it.. 2 failed attempts were also made by the original company we bought the stone from. My marble bench top was etched and stained. I called up many restorer’s but they couldn’t offer what Grand Stone did. Not only did he restore my marble bench top and splash backs but he applied a marble anti etch protection film that protected my marble from future staining and etching. to polish and clean my bathroom marble, and they made it look brand new. Their
experts made sure that it regained its shine. An amazing service with an affordable

Grand stone restorations were asked to come out and have a look at our tiered looking limestone floors. Mohammed was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, punctual.

When inspecting our floors he provided a sample of 3 different finishes, Matt, satin and semi polished (*as polished as you can get without creating a slippery surface). Our problem areas were efflorescence in the bathrooms, scratches and a shadow on our skirting. He had identified that a dark shadow along all our stone skirting was in-fact from when the painters had used tape to protect the stone, instead causing the glue from the tape to be absorbed into the stone.

On the day of the work, his team came in and marked out all the problematic areas on our floors so that they were able to concentrate on them with various polishing tools. Ensuring that the job was completed to perfection.

They scheduled in a time and I was very pleased to find out that they were prompt and punctual. The team were so polite and friendly, always with a smile on their face and had the best of manners. They loved their job and you could see it in the way they worked.  They never made us feel like a burden when we changed our mind 3 times about the finish.

Now as for the work itself, what can I say other than it was nothing short of perfect, the shadow on the skirting was gone, all the scratches/smudges and everything I didn't even notice at first had disappeared. The efflorescence was treated, polished and sealed as well as the skirting shadow was gone and the floors looked like they were brand new.

I really recommend the team at Grand stone restorations for any issues you may have with your stone, or if you just want to have fresh looking floors. They are so patient and understanding, not to mention have the most amazing workmanship! We will be using them again after our landscaping is completed for our cobbles stone drive way and travertine outdoor areas.
